“This place has been one of my favorites since my first stay. It's very clean and cozy, and the customer service is excellent. The receptionist is very friendly, and even when she's not in the office, she answers calls and comes quickly. Thank you so much!”
“It was nice its on the old rustic side, we stayed in Rustic Rose cabin, no toaster or dish towels. Beds were comfy, its further out on the 18 than I like but it was clean and functional.”
“My best friend and I had the best vacation ever! We had separate cabins and they were both so wonderful....the beds were so comfortable ,the atmosphere and the wonderful hospitality that we received from Heather and Nick. We didn't want to leave, and we stayed for 12 days, we're already planning our next trip to The Grey Squirrel!! One of the best, relaxing, peaceful environments that I've ever had...But don't go to this wonderful place if you don't understand that you're in the mountains and you're gonna see some beautiful wildlife. I'm already home and still wish that we were there. Thanks again, Heather and Nick, you guys REALLY WORK HARD!!! Hope this review goes through, you deserve it. Sincerely, Elaine McCaffery”
“Place was great for a quick weekend trip if you don’t plan to stay in the whole time, it had a charming style to it, had good amenities like a hot shower and working and television and cute grill for barbecue, the only thing is the cooking pan handle was loose and worn so cooking on it was a challenge but aside from that it was a great stay!!”
“Overall, my experience with the Gray squirrel resort was very positive. Staff was a pretty frickin' awesome. We came in and one of the worst snowstorms and cottage was very cozy. Wood was cheap, and we definitely had a good time. I would recommend it, especially for the price”
